Description: Without question, one of the rarest and most desired pieces produced by Shelby American. These press kits were produced to be handed out along the famous Cobra Caravan tour which was put on by Shelby American in celebration of the Daytona Coupes winning the 1965 FIA World Championship for GT cars. This press kit is an original example…not a reproduction of any kind. It has survived the test of time in remarkable condition.

I have owned more SAI related memorabilia than just about anyone else in the world…and over all my years of buying, selling, and collecting I have only owned 3 examples of this item including this one. To put that in perspective, I have probably owned 5 1965 GT350 postcard when those are lauded as the rarest of the rare. This isn’t an item which you are likely ever going to have a chance to add to your collection after this one sells. A centerpiece of any Shelby American literature collection.

Please Note: a photograph was missing when I acquired this example. I replaced the missing photo with a high quality reproduction. All other photos in the packet are original and even the replacement photograph features an original glued on caption paper which was still with the press kit.
